Three survive after bakkie overturns

Three men escaped with only bruises and scratches after the bakkie they were traveling in overturned.

Three people are lucky to be alive and had a narrow escape after their bakkie overturned and rolled over the long weekend.

The driver of the bakkie was traveling along Amajuba Street in Noorheuwel when it overturned on 28 March at around 8am.

Krugersdorp CPF’s first-aid responders were called to the scene by neighbours who heard the sound of the bakkie overturning.

Paramedics along with the police and Mogale City Traffic Department officials rushed to the scene shortly after.

It is believed the driver of the vehicle lost control of the bakkie when the wheel hit the bend of the turn in Amajuba Street.

The driver of the vehicle had a fracture to his finger while the occupants on the back of the bakkie escaped with a few scratches and bruises.
