Cigarette boxes scattered along the road lead to the hijacked British American Tobacco vehicle in Silverfields.
Patrollers of the Sector 8 Community Policing Forum (CPF), and a Dowry Reaction Unit, responded to a call-out about a hijacked vehicle at 1pm this afternoon.
On arrival in Hartford Street, members found the vehicle, with the driver, parked on the side of the road.
An urgent Be on the lookout (BOLO) has been put out for a black BMW 3 series in connection with the incident.
Police were called to the scene and took over from CPF and Dowry.
The News is waiting for the police to release a statement regarding the hijacking.
