Something for everyone at charity art exhibit

The old Magistrate Court has once again been brought to life with art.

The art exhibition of the Thusong Centre for the Mentally Challenged has officially opened.

Following the success of last year’s exhibition, the centre is once again displaying their art in the hopes of receiving donations to fund their art programme, as there is no available budget for it.

Selling the art not only raises the necessary funds, but also aims to promote their work and boost their self confidence.

The opening, which took place on Friday 24 June, included a performance by the Mogale City Choir and Tlhatswanang Diatla Cultural Group, before officially opening to the public.

The exhibition will be open until the end of July, and members of the public are urged to support this worthy cause.
