Suspects arrested for conning truckers
The Trio Task Team nabs two suspects for for the same crime in different circumstances.
The Krugersdorp Trio Task Team recently nabbed two suspects involved in conning and robbing truckers.
“A suspect robbed a complainant of money, but the complainant managed to apprehend him and he was arrested. Then a few days later, another suspect was arrested for common robbery and found in possession of an unlicensed firearm. On arrival at the cells he was searched and ammunition and one firearm magazine were also found in his possession,” Krugersdorp Police spokesperson, Sergeant Tshepiso Mashale said.
After some thorough investigation, the Trio Task Team managed to link both suspects to the same crime.
The suspect will join his accomplice in jail and will appear in court soon.
