Half-naked woman found behind substation

A middle-aged woman was rushed to hospital in a critical condition after she was discovered behind a substation earlier this morning.

It is believed passers-by spotted the half-naked woman behind a substation on Barratt Road, Factoria, at 8.30am and alerted the local Community Policing Forum.

They in turn contacted Netcare 911. Their paramedics found the woman in a serious condition.

“Paramedics managed to stabilise her on the scene before transporting her to a nearby hospital for further medical care. Reports from the scene indicate that she was assaulted,” Netcare 911 media liaison officer, Athlenda Mathe confirmed.
