Hoërskool Noordheuwel se Graad 10 leerling, Simoné van Staden, is onlangs as Teen Miss Johannesburg 2016 gekroon.

Die geleentheid het by Sterkfontein Heritage Lodge plaasgevind en is deur Role Model Foundation aangebied.
Simoné het ook verskeie ander toekennings tydens die kompetisie gewen, naamlik die Senior Fotogeniese, Styl, Filantroop en Algehele Debutante toekenings.
