During a walkabout and door-to-door campaign in town policemen visited shelters for abused women and children to donate comfort packs.

Tarlton Police spokesperson Constable Lucky Matome was happy to address the public. “Men need to lead by example and become the ambassadors for positive change. Our women and children cannot live in fear because of us,” he told the News. Men for Change Provincial chairperson, Champ Jika was humbled by the participation of community members.
