Two nabbed for possession of stolen goods
Two Hekpoort men were arrested for possessing goods stolen on a farm.
Two men, aged 22 and 39, have been arrested for being in possession of stolen items at Panorama in Hekpoort.
A case of house-breaking and theft was opened at the Hekpoort Police Station on Friday, 26 August and upon investigating the police tracked the stolen items to the residence of the two suspects. Police searched the suspects’ rooms and found clothes and bags that had been reported stolen from the Chichester Farm.

When questioned by the police, the suspects admitted they’d stolen the clothes at the Chichester Farm. Both of them were arrested and will appear in the Krugersdorp Magistrates’ court shortly. “I want to urge community members to report any wrong-doing they witness. Together we can secure the Hekpoort area,” said the station commander of the Hekpoort Police Station, Captain Zwane.
