Woman arrested for selling lover’s property
A 26-year-old woman sold her boyfriend's property and left the province.

Her boyfriend was arrested for domestic violence after she called the police on him, but when he was released, he came home to an empty house.
A 26-year-old woman was arrested on Tuesday, 30 August for the alleged theft of her boyfriend’s property, some time after she had called the police on him over a domestic violence incident. While he was in detention at the Kagiso Police Station, she sold all his property.
When the man was released after two days in jail, he found that not only was his property missing – his girlfriend had left for Kwa-Zulu Natal. The man reported the issue to the police and they consulted his girlfriend who confessed to selling her lover’s property. She was arrested and has been detained.
She will appear in the Kagiso Magistrates’ Court facing a charge of theft.
