The News has received information that Mogale City‘s traffic officials are currently on strike at the Mogale City Traffic Department. Spokesperson for Mogale City Traffic, Papi Motaung, confirmed that a strike is currently under way, but he could not provide further details.
“I am on my way there to hear their grievances and I will let you know when I have more information,” Papi told the News.
However, trusted sources have told the News that traffic officials are unhappy about their salaries. According to the sources, they were not paid for the work they did during the local elections.
