Rocking for the Paws update

A few line up changes and additional information to take note of.

The third annual Rocking the Paws event will be taking place on 1 October at Rumours Pub and Lounge. A few changes have however been made since the initial report about the event.

Doors open at noon, with the music starting at 2.30pm and continuing until late.

This year’s event promises to be even bigger and better, and it’s all in aid of the furry creatures being cared for at the Roodepoort SPCA. As we know, Krugersdorp no longer has its own SPCA, and therefore the Roodepoort SPCA has to cater for the Krugersdorp community as well.

Eighteen bands and musicians will be performing in this year’s show, and all of them are donating their performances. On the outside stage in the beer garden, acts such as Pro Castinator, Morte, Justin Serrao, Lyla Illing and Johnny and Elrene will be performing.

On the inside stage you can see No Regret, Barcode Bandits, UFO Experience, Last Chance Seattle, The Ceramics, The Color Blew, Revery, Auction, Burning Blue, Jasper Dan, The Dandies, Thundermerwe and Gunslinger.

There will be a raffle on the day, with hampers and other great prizes to be won. Entries to the raffle cost R10 each, and will be available at the door. If you bring a donation of dog or cat food, or a blanket, you will receive a free shooter at the door, courtesy of Rumours.

There will also be a limited number of free giveaways available at the door, so make sure you get there early.

The entry fee to the event is R70 per person.

The Roodepoort SPCA would like to extend its thanks and gratitude to Mix FM, Fanbase Music Magazine, Rumours, and all the bands and musicians who are participating for their amazing help and support in making it all happen.
