Young woman sexually assaulted at Muldersdrift lodge
“The eldest was sexually assaulted and her minor sister was undressed, but not assaulted.”
A 21-year-old woman was sexually assaulted and her sister, who is a minor, was undressed by intruders at the lodge where they were staying.
It is alleged the two females were asleep at the lodge in Elandsdrift, Muldersdrift on Friday 23 September at approximately 4am when three men gained access to their unit through a bathroom window.
They found a male victim, who is a minor, asleep in the dining room and tied him up with shoelaces.
The suspects allegedly gained access to the second floor of the unit where they found his mother and his two sisters asleep in the bedroom.
“The eldest was sexually assaulted and the minor was undressed, but not assaulted,” Constable Gloria Maswanganya, West Rand Cluster Police spokesperson said.
The suspects allegedly stole a laptop, three cellphones and cash before fleeing the scene on foot.
The suspects have not yet been arrested.
Colonel Seabi, Muldersdrift Police station commander appealed to the community members who might have information that may lead police to the suspects to contact the police station on 011 954 4600.
