Beauties encouraged to enter special pageant

Because this is not your typical pageant, there is no entry fee

Silver Wishes, a local organisation, has a special announcement for special princesses.

The organisation is hosting an extraordinary event on 28 January 2017 at Casalinga in Muldersdrift – an event called ‘Miss Silver Wishes’.

This is a beauty pageant with a difference, as it is specifically for disabled girls and young women.

There will be fantastic prizes up for grabs and celebrity judges like Mr South Africa Armand du Plessis, Mrs Africa finalist Adele de Beer and the beloved actress Bertha le Roux (from 7de Laan) will be there.

Prizes range from educational toys to gift vouchers and many more surprises.

All disabled girls and women between the ages of five and 25 are invited to enter. There will be three age groups: 5–9 years, 10–16 years and 17–25 years.

Because this is not your typical pageant, there is no entry fee. Participants will be judged on the theme ‘Come as you are’.

For more information, send an email to Deon Swanepoel, chairperson of Silver Wishes, at info@silverwishes.co.za.
