West Rand Cluster Police are on the lookout for a man who allegedly kidnapped and raped a victim in Randfontein recently.

The police have managed to compile an identikit with the assistance of the victim. The suspect is a male, with a reddish complexion. He is between 30 and 35 years old, of slender build and about 1,68 metres tall.

He has a scratch on his neck, has brown eyes and short, wavy, reddish hair. He addressed the victim in English. On the day of the crime he was wearing a T-Shirt, shorts and black boots. He was driving a bakkie.

The police urge community members to provide them with information that might assist them in tracing the suspect.

Sergeant Theboka Nkosi, investigating officer from the West Rand Family Violence, Sexual Offences and Child Protection Unit, is urgently requesting the public to look at the image and keep an eye out for him.
