Man busted for possession

During a routine patrol, a crime prevention unit received a tip-off that led to a 23-year-old man's arrest.

A 23-year-old man was arrested for possession of ammunition last week.

While they were doing their routine patrols, members of a crime prevention unit received a complaint about a house where dagga was being sold . The crime prevention unit and police members went to the house and searched it.

Police discovered five rounds of ammunition, for which the suspect failed to produce a licence. He was arrested, detained at Kagiso Police Station and appeared in court on Monday, 5 December.
