Five of the worst Christmas trees ever
More than often however, it is noticeable that Christmas tree decorating is not for everyone and sometimes decorators are left with horrific creations in their living room.

Christmas is synonymous with the excitement of putting up Christmas trees with your family.
Usually children offer to help put up the Christmas tree and with the help of their parents, build something beautiful and enjoyable for the entire holiday.
However, it’s often clear that Christmas tree decorating is not for everyone and sometimes decorators are left with horrific creations in their living rooms.
Here is the News’ selection of the worst Christmas trees:

1. Cubiclebot has a car air-freshener in the shape of a Christmas tree hanging from a wooden back-scratcher over a pile of gifts. It seems that this family either did not want to overspend on Christmas decorations, or used their son’s backup plan because they forgot about the special occasion entirely. Nonetheless, it might help to conserve the atmosphere after Santa’s reindeer let loose a toot or two.

2. While the contemporary world has converted to the theory of ‘less is more’, some people take the concept way too far. This terribly frail, one-branched tree seems like a killjoy for any Christmas gathering. The tree is so small that gifts the size of ring boxes will barely fit underneath the branch-less stem. Maybe that is the whole idea though?

3. Sometimes uniqueness works – and sometimes it doesn’t. Most people believe in keeping the Christmas tradition, and buy the ordinary pine tree to decorate. Others, however want to be a little more creative and use other kinds of trees. But being unique has its challenges. This family used a tree (of a variety unknown to the News) under which to stack their presents. The tree’s branches seem frail and not a single ball or decoration hangs from it. Perhaps it was Uncle Frik’s brilliant idea of a reserve tree after the family cat destroyed the original one.

4. The recent trend on social media is to use DIY websites to find ideas about how to decorate your Christmas trees. But sometimes DIY fails monumentally, but because you put so much effort into creating something, it seems like a waste to not use it. This tree seems like a drastic DIY fail. The Christmas balls are made out of recycled plastic bottles, but from afar, they look like those gathered up nylon bath sponges. The tree also has so many decorations it appears to be weighed down by the burden of a thousand sins.

5. Last but not least comes a tree that ‘lifts the spirit’ as high as you can imagine. This tree rates seven star on many a person’s wish list. The marijuana Christmas tree seems like any stoner’s dream come true and it looks like the one who decorated it was sober enough to space the decorations very efficiently. It is true however, that this person’s Christmas wish might come true sooner than he thinks.
