Earthquake aftershock: shaking with laughter at funny comments

The News sums up the funniest comments the public made after the recent earthquakes in Southern Africa.

Fed up community members always turn to humour to make the situations they find themselves in seem a little better.

With Standard and Poor’s (S&P) downgrading the country’s economy to junk status after the sudden reshuffle in Parliament, some community members have connected the earthquakes we have experienced on Monday, 3 April with the bad choices made by President Jacob Zuma over the last few days in an effort to cope.

The sweetest comment of all was when News journalist Bianca Pindral asked her mother if she had felt the earthquake, to which her mother answered: “I didn’t feel the earth move at all. Only your dad can rock my world.”
