A grand opening with a bash

The main focus of the day was the grand opening of Meat World.

It was great local music combined with tasty food, and entertainment from sunrise till sunset.

Meat World at Valley View Retail Centre recently held its big opening, with various artists and entertainment for shoppers to enjoy, free of charge!

Great specials for the whole family were available throughout the day.

Shaleen Surtie-Richards, the MC for the day, had the crowd at the tips of her fingers with all her entertainment methods.

Big names in the entertainment industry such as Bobby van Jaarsveld, Pieter Smith, DJ Ossewa, Alwyn Oberholster, Phillru van Achterbergh and Francois van Rensburg performed throughout the course of the day, with thousands of people passing by, and many of them sitting on camp chairs enjoying the lovely food. The main focus of the day was of course the grand opening of Meat World.

Phillip and Annemarie van Dyke-Geyser enjoyed seeing a large variety of entertainers.

The franchise has branches all over the country and has become well-known for its music festivals offered as opening promotions at new branches.

Whole families were present and the children were ecstatic at seeing Blommie, Botterblom and Heksie live on stage.

Some of the other shops also had special promotions for the day with shops flooded with shoppers. The day seemed to be a big success with the crowds only leaving close to sunset.
