Yummy Easter ice-cream … with a twist

This treat is suitable for the whole family!

Can you think of anyone who does not want to eat delicious ice-cream? How about trying some … but with a twist, this Easter?

Try out this easy sweet treat this Easter weekend and keep those children’s’ tummies filled with some Easter egg ice-cream magic.

What ingredients do you need?

• One litre of ice-cream

• Miniature Easter eggs

• Chocolate sauce for serving

What to do:

• Soften ice-cream slightly and fold in the Easter eggs

• Return ice-cream to freezer until hard

• Scoop ice-cream into glass bowls, drizzle with chocolate sauce and decorate with miniature eggs

How to jazz the dessert up:

• Serve the ice-cream in wafer baskets

• Make Easter egg sundaes, with layers of crushed biscuits, miniature Easter eggs and prepared Easter egg ice-cream in a glass

• If you can’t find mini Easter eggs, roughly chop your favourite chocolate and fold it into the ice-cream
