Local model to represent South Africa in Turkey

Without the R65 000 Shikirah will not have the opportunity to make the difference she would like to.

Modelling has given a Krugersdorp beauty the opportunity to make a positive impact on her community, and hopefully soon, across the world.

Shikirah Roth, a matric learner from Krugersdorp High School, was recently chosen to represent South Africa at the Teen Miss World competition to be held in Turkey during May. But, for this dream to become a reality, Shikirah needs R65 000.

“It is my goal to represent South Africa and I can only achieve this goal with the help of others, said Shikirah.

She started modelling when she was three-years-old and according to her, she not only does it for the title, but to help others and touch as many lives as possible. She is very excited about her upcoming event and wants to make South Africa, her school, and her community proud.

Without the R65 000, Shikirah will not have the opportunity to make the difference she would like to. She also believes that if your dreams do not scare you, they are not big enough.

If anyone would like to make a donation, Shikirah can be contacted on 079 929 4449. The News will keep its readers informed about her journey.
