Senior citizens treat children on Tata’s day

The children of the children's home spent time with Emmanual Old Age home seniors.

Emmanuel Old Age Home chose to spend its 67 minutes for Mandela a different way than last year – and spread it across three days of pure giving.

The residents spent an entire day with the children from The Bethany House Trust, baking cookies and teaching them how to make their own bags. The senior citizens showed the small beings how to knit with fabric.

Both boys and girls had the chance to join in the fun and soon all the cookies they baked were mostly gone as they snacked on them throughout the second and third day.

The cookies were so wholesome that some almost did not have space in their tummies for the hamburgers that were prepared for them.
