[WATCH] Four injured after train and vehicle collide
The four occupants of the vehicle were lucky to escape the collision with only moderate injuries.
Four people sustained injuries ranging from moderate to severe after the vehicle they were travelling in collided with a train in Tarlton on Saturday, 26 August, shortly before noon.
When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene at 11.55am, all of the occupants were out of the vehicle.

“Upon closer inspection, paramedics found that the occupants had sustained injuries and the ER24 Oneplan helicopter was called in to transport a woman to Lenmed Randfontein Hospital for further medical care.

“The other patients were transported to nearby hospitals for further medical care.
“The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not clear to our paramedics but Metrorail and the local police were on scene for further investigations,” Ineke van Huyssteenm, ER24 spokesperson said.
