It’s all going to the dogs

Key West Shopping Centre shows their care for shelter animals

In July, Key West Shopping Centre held a “67kgs for Madiba Day” donation drive, in support of the local no-kill animal shelter, Fora (Friends of Rescued Animals), and collected a heap of dog food for the shelter.

Fora has a very dear spot in the hearts of the community, and being able to assist them by any means possible is only a pleasure. Donations were made by shoppers, staff members and Key West Shopping Centre.

Coreen Clark, a member of Fora, said that the shelter appreciates any help it can get.

“Thank you to everyone who contributed to the 67kgs for Mandela Day,” said Maxine Edwards, spokesperson for Key West Shopping Centre.
