Business robbery – one arrested, three on the loose
Heavily armed men on the loose, while one man has been apprehended in Tarlton.
A 32-year-old male suspect was arrested for business robbery in the Tarlton area on Thursday, 31 August.
The suspect was caught at a spaza shop in the area. The 65-year-old spaza shop owner was in his shop when a number of unknown men entered and ordered him to lie down.

He was allegedly pointed at with firearms, and an undisclosed amount of money was taken. The men then fled the scene on foot. Tarlton police members swiftly responded to the matter. It is alleged that three heavily armed suspects fled the scene when the police arrived. One man was however caught, and will make an appearance in court soon.
Constable Gloria Maswangwanye urged community members not to confront the suspects, since they are armed and could be dangerous.
