Pilot dies in aircraft crash

It is not clear how many occupants, if any, were on board when the crash occurred.

On Sunday, 3 September it is alleged that a pilot had died when his Cessna 172 aircraft hit some power lines in the Hekpoort area.

It is not clear how many occupants, if any, were on board when the crash occurred, but according to a reliable source there were no apparent survivors.

Due to the post crash fire the aircraft was destroyed and smoke was to be seen from a few kilometres away.
