Six injured in taxi crash on Robert Broom

The occupants of the light motor vehicle were assessed and found to have escaped injury.

Six people were left injured this morning when a light motor vehicle and a taxi collided at the intersection of Robert Broom Drive and Cecil Knight Road in Rant-en-Dal.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 7.43am and found both vehicles in the middle of the road. The occupants had already climbed out of the vehicles.

Paramedics assessed the victims and found that six occupants of the taxi had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. Fortunately, no serious or fatal injuries were reported on the scene.

The details surrounding this incident are not yet known, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
