Breaking News: Frightful wreckage of car after head-on collision in Muldersdrift
The driver died on scene.
A man in his 50s was killed outright in a head-on collision on Beyers Naudé Drive in Mulderdrift at about 11am today, 4 October.
ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene and found a truck on the one side of the road and a wrecked light motor vehicle on the other.

They found a man trapped inside the light motor vehicle. Unfortunately, he had already succumbed to his multiple injuries, and nothing could be done for him. He was declared dead on scene.
Provincial fire services had to use specialised rescue tools to free the deceased from the vehicle.

The driver of the truck was assessed and found to have escaped injury.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
