Just in: Cradlestone Mall closed due to tornado damage

"After discussions with the relevant local authorities it was decided that in the best interest of public safety, the Mall will be closed until further notice."

Cara Grobler, general manager of Cradlestone Mall announced on Tuesday, 10 October that it would be best that the mall be closed until further notice.

On Monday afternoon 9 October 2017, Cradlestone Mall was hit by the tornado that tore through the Johannesburg area.

“After discussions with the relevant local authorities, it was decided that in the best interest of public safety, the mall will remain closed until further notice, for immediate repair work to be carried out,” said Grobler.

“The safety of customers remains our top priority, and the public, customers and tenants are assured that we are giving urgent attention to this matter.”
