Just in: Cradlestone Mall reopened after tornado

The closure was due to safety concerns, but the centre's management has announced that the safety risk has now been alleviated.

Cradlestone Mall was reopened at noon today, 13 October.

This follows after it was closed on Monday, 9 October, following the destructive path of a tornado that ripped through its roof.

The closure was due to safety concerns, but the centre’s management has announced that the safety risk has now been alleviated.

“We would like to thank you for your patience and understanding – your continued support this week is valued,” said Katlego Maseloane, spokesperson for the mall.
