Despite damage, Cradlestone still gives to schools

In the spirit of communities coming together and helping one another after the storm, Cradlestone Mall launched #INTHISTOGETHER, providing much-needed support

Laerskool Muldersdrif and Laerskool Protearif have been closed due to the structural damage caused by the tornado which wreaked havoc across Johannesburg. Parts of the school’s roofs were blown off and trees fell in on surrounding structures, leaving classrooms flooded and the ground covered in rubble.

Cradlestone Mall was also affected by the tornado disaster and came out strong after reopening for trade on Friday, 13 October. In the spirit of communities coming together and helping one another after the storm, Cradlestone Mall launched #INTHISTOGETHER providing much needed support and will donate R20 000 towards Laerskool Protearif and another R20 000 towards Laerskool Muldersdrif.

“We urge shoppers to please donate any school-related items to Cradlestone Mall,” said Najla Richardson, Marketing Manager for the mall. “We will ensure it reaches the schools and thank you for your support.”
