Usambara collision claims two lives
Sadly two of the occupants were declared dead on scene.
Yesterday, at about 12.10pm, QRS medics received a call to a motor-vehicle accident on the N14 near Usambara Lodge.
Upon arrival they found two vehicles that had collided head-on, with four patients in total. Sadly two of the occupants were declared dead on scene.

The third victim had to be extracted from the vehicle and was in a critical condition while the fourth victim sustained moderate injuries.
Together with a Netcare Advanced life support medic, ER24, the Fire Department, local police and Government ambulance, they treated the two patients and transported them to nearby facilities for further treatment.
