Here are some safety tips you can follow:
• Make sure your number plates are pop-riveted in order for it to not get stolen
• Licence discs must always be up to date and preferably be glued onto the window
• Make sure you DataDot your car
• Take photos of your car – front, back and side
• Always be vigilant while driving or parking
• After parking your car, try more than twice to see if your car is locked
• When followed by a suspicious vehicle, do not go home. Rather drive to a public place or your nearest police station
What to do when your car has been stolen:
• Phone your tracking company immediately
• Give an exact description of your car with marks by which to identify it
• Report it at your nearest police station
