Road crash leaves man with minor injury

A minor accident leaves a man with an injured arm and a damaged bike, while the motorist's vehicle was only slightly dented.

Friday literally started off with a bang for a Krugersdorp West motorist and a motorcyclist on Moorcroft Street on Friday morning, 10 November.

According to the CPSF member to whom the News spoke at the scene, the minor accident occurred at about 7am, as a motorist was turning into her yard. A motorcyclist came from the direction of Luipaard Street and crashed into the vehicle.

The woman’s vehicle was fortunately only slightly dented in the accident.

The News briefly spoke to the driver of the car, who asked not to be named. The woman, who is a resident of Krugersdorp West, said she was not injured and the motorcyclist had a minor injury to his left arm.

“Fortunately, he wasn’t badly hurt. His motorcycle suffered the most. Thank God he is not seriously injured,” said the emotional woman.

Emergency services assisted the man with a bandage to cover his injuries and stop the bleeding. The bike was removed from the scene by a tow truck.
