Stabbed and assaulted for a pair of jeans
They could not find the jeans and left.They then returned for revenge.
Police have arrested two suspects aged 20 and 22 on charges of attempted murder on Monday, 20 November, after they assaulted and stabbed a woman.
The woman said she was at her home the day before when one of the suspects, whom she knew, arrived. She and the person with her suddenly attacked the woman with their bare hands and demanded that she hand over their items of clothing.

When the clothing was nowhere to be found, they went to another person’s house to look for it, again without succeeding. The suspect and her friend decided to go back to the first woman’s house where they began to assault her. One suspect used a broken beer bottle to stab the woman, who sustained an open stab wound to her left shoulder and bruises to the right arm.
The matter was reported to the Kagiso Police who then searched for and arrested the two suspects. A case docket of attempted murder was opened at the Kagiso Police Station.
The suspects will appear briefly in court soon.
