Best of the best businesses awarded
This annual prestigious event was hosted by the West Rand Chamber of Business and Tourism (WRCBT).
The annual Business Achievers Awards saw a great number of glamorous individuals representing their businesses in the hope of walking away the winner of one or other category the awards had to offer.
This prestigious event was held on Thursday, 16 November in the Silverstar Platinum Ballroom and was hosted by the West Rand Chamber of Business and Tourism (WRCBT).
The WRCBT aimed to identify, recognise and honour entrepreneurs and enterprises whose ingenuity, innovation and hard work have created successful, growing business ventures against all odds, in pursuit of customer support, loyalty and success.
The awards were divided into different categories in order to make the competition truly representative of the various spheres of business activity in the Greater West Rand. Some of the categories included Large, Medium and Small Business as well as Emerging Small Business.
However, the biggest awards of the evening were the Business Woman Achiever of the Year, which was awarded to Melodie van Brakel, Founder of Cradle of Hope, and the Overall Winner which was awarded to Create a Crowd (t/a Konka).
Other highlights included a guest speaker, great entertainment, scrumptious food and some excellent company.
