‘We are ready to start packing’
"Your kindness ensures they have a Christmas to look forward to."
UniCollege West Rand recently donated boxes and boxes full of clothes to the News’ Christmas project Call of Doody and now, there is enough to end the project and start making up parcels to donate to the less-fortunate residents of Pango Camp in Munsieville.
The News started the project in August after a string of babies were abandoned all over Krugersdorp.
The parcels will be handed over to the children of the camp on 10 December and each parcel will contain toys, teddies, clothes, shoes, toiletries and more – all donated by the kindhearted residents of Krugersdorp.
“We thank every single person for their generous donations.
Your kindness ensures that the folks of Pango Camp have a Christmas to look forward to, a community that loves them, and the hope that someday they too might have enough to give,” said project leader and journalist, Bianca Pindral.
