Nadia will give you the hope you need
Even though her deteriorating condition forced her into a wheelchair approximately six months ago, she remains the ultimate beacon of hope.
Nadia du Plooy’s journey began when she was diagnosed with Kearns-Sayre syndrome at the age of only two years.
According to her mother, Lize du Plooy, Nadia’s cells do not generate energy which makes them degenerating cells (in simple terms). Over the years, this has caused her daughter’s condition to worsen.

What sets her apart from most other her age is not only her strong faith, but the fact that she is unable to swim, run around or even walk, due to the rare neuromuscular and slowly progressive disorder she suffers from.
As part of Nadia’s message of hope and love of the entertainment world she started hosting talks almost all over Gauteng.

To read Nadia’s inspiring story of courage, survival and overcoming many obstacles, make sure you get your hands on a copy of next week’s edition of the Krugerdorp News, out on Wednesday. Ulturnatively you can read this exclusive article in the online version of the newspaper.
