2018’s timeless style for the unfashionable

All eyes are on the style scene of 2018.

Fashion trends may be popular and generate billions of rand, and though they fade – style never runs out.

Living in the world of technology may have made our lives easier, but when it comes to style, it’s easy to lose your sense of individuality in how you dress and express yourself.

Style experts have suggested that women should pay attention to the shape of their bodies and dress accordingly. Do not wear clothing you are not comfortable in. When you are not comfortable, it shows in your body language. Trying to fit in will leave you feeling exhausted from trying to be something you’re not.

Sisanda Nqwiliso is a dressmaker who has studied the female physique and what suits the shape better. “The biggest mistake women make is when they buy clothing that looks good on their friends,” she said.

Every woman must have a staple piece, a basic, in her wardrobe. This will become a signature item that represents her unique style.

You can get inspiration when putting your look together by viewing different profiles on social media. Be sure to pay attention to people with the same body type as you, and think of the colours that compliment your skin tone.

The best news is: money does not buy style. You do not have to wear Prada to look stylish; affordable clothes in local stores or online stores can offer you great clothes for less.

“Mixing and matching clothes of different styles and from different sources is usually a winner when it comes to clothes that make one look super stylish,” said Sisanda.
