#KrugersdorpWarAgainstDrugs Munsieville protesters not giving up
The News have just received reports that the group is now moving along Robert Broom Drive in the direction of Rant-en-Dal.
It is alleged that there are currently about four major groups of protesters marching around town.
One of the groups has just marched towards the intersection of the R28 and Luipaard Street at the McDonald’s, where police were once again forced to fire rubber bullets.
After the crowd threatened to move into the CBD area in an effort to burn down more houses, the police succeeded in forcing them out of town and onto the R28 intersection which divides Kagiso from the rest of Krugersdorp. Authorities have claimed that Paardekraal Drive is open for motorists again.

Even though the Munsieville masses started to calm down and disperse throughout the day, the News has just received reports that the Van Riebeeck Road and Robert Broom Drive intersection is closed yet again with burning tyres. This group is now moving along Robert Broom in the direction of Rant-en-Dal.
Further reports suggest that another group of protesters has moved out of the CBD area, after burning a few houses as well.
However, the R28 and other routes leading into Randfontein, such as the R41 (alongside Leratong Hospital) have been closed, and road users are urged to avoid these areas until further notice.
Various local business, including many of the shops in Key West Shopping Centre have also been closed until further notice.
