Take a note of these great events taking place this weekend, as well as next week.

Please come along and join in for a chat and refreshments and if anyone is interested in helping with the new group, please let the organisers know, as they need to form a committee. Patients, survivors, caregivers and friends are all welcome at the meetings. There is no charge and there is no need to book. For more information, contact Chris Olivier on 083 640 4949.

Bon-Af Berry Farm will be their first stop where you can choose between a hundred different kinds of berries to pick, and eat as many berries as you like. At O’s Restaurant on the banks of the Vaal River, the group will enjoy lunch under the trees in the beautiful garden. Parys, more specifically the Vredefort Dome, is known for the meteorite that struck the earth millions of years ago. Christo from Kopjeskraal will tell the group all about this (with videos and samples of rocks) and the huge impact that it had on the surrounding areas, during the third stop of the day. Cost of the trip is R400 and non-members pay an additional R30. For more information, contact Marthie Coetzer on 083 297 9565.
