Wet weather round-up – what’s happening in town?

With the wet weather continuing for the rest of the day and tomorrow, take a note of some helpful tips.

So far, the heavy rains throughout the province has everyone, especially motorists, on high alert for localised flooding, re-forming potholes and misty conditions.

However, apart from the one major accident this morning (23 March) on Ontdekkers Road, nothing else too serious has been reported. A few schools have also cancelled their sporting activities due to the weather.

Residents and motorists are urged to take it easy on the roads this afternoon and tomorrow as the wet conditions continue.
