Scooter and car collide – scooter driver dies

On Friday night, 23 March, shortly before 10pm, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a serious collision on Commissioner Street near Maasdorp Street, Krugersdorp.
Nick Dollman, spokesperson for Netcare911, said reports from the scene indicated that a 48-year-old female scooter-rider was involved in a collision with a car.

“The victim was trapped underneath the vehicle when paramedics arrived at the scene. Tragically she had sustained severe injuries and there was nothing paramedics could do to help her,” said Dollman.
Documentation pertaining to her death was completed by Netcare 911 and handed over to authorities at the scene.
The police were on the scene to investigate the incident.
