Taxi bursts into flames on Robert Broom Drive
The driver of the taxi said he had no idea why it caught fire.
A minibus taxi burst into flames on Robert Broom Drive yesterday morning, 27 March.

The driver of the taxi was accelerating after stopping at a stop street when the taxi was suddenly engulfed in flames. The driver jumped out of the taxi while it was still moving and when it came to a standstill, stood and watched as it burned.

The driver sustained minor injuries, but no one else was injured.
The taxi was a complete write-off. Authorities were on scene to investigate.
