Lanseria man stabbed in his home

He was airlifted by a helicopter because of the nature of his injuries.

A man was left critically injured last night, 23 April, after he was stabbed numerous times in his home at Lanseria.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 8.30pm, with the police arriving shortly after.

Upon closer inspection, the paramedics found the man lying inside his home in a pool of blood.

Russel Meiring, spokesperson for ER24, said the paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous stab wounds, leaving him in a critical condition.

“The man was treated for his injuries and provided with advanced life support interventions before he was airlifted to hospital by the ER24 Oneplan Helicopter.”

The exact details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
