Curro learners dress up as grandparents to celebrate special bond

Youngsters stepped into the shoes of their older loved ones for a heartwarming school tribute filled with music and drama.

Youngsters at Curro Primary paid tribute to their grandparents and special loved ones in a unique way by dressing up for a school celebration.

The annual Grandparents and Special Persons Day saw the youngsters take centre stage, embracing their roles with carefully chosen outfits, slow walks, and charming mannerisms.

Curro executive head Annamarie Lombard said the celebration highlighted the admiration young learners have for the key figures in their lives.

“Through song, drama, and character portrayals, they paid tribute to the grandparents and special persons who guide, support, and inspire them every day,” Annamarie said.
