Residents finally rightful owners of their homes

However, four of the people on the list of those to receive deeds had already passed away.

Thirty members of the Apple Park community were thrilled to receive the long-awaited title deeds of the houses they live in.

The hand-over was organised by the Mogale City’s Human Settlement division and headed by the Member of the Mayoral Committee (MMC) councillor Anna Setswalo-Moja and councillor Trudie Naudé, in partnership with the Gauteng Department of Human Settlement.

Four of the people on the list of those to receive deeds had already passed away, and Naudé told the News how sad she was that they never got to experience the joy of being a homeowner.

The residents were extremely happy to receive the title deeds to their houses and to finally claim rightful ownership of their homes.
