Striking near Leratong Hospital – how it’s affecting the roads to Krugersdorp

There have been reports that certain areas are a 'no go' for motorists.

Reports of a strike at Leratong Hospital have been received this morning, 30 May.

The hospital security has locked the entrance gates and parked ambulances in front of them to restrict access.

The roads around the hospital are considered to be dangerous at this stage and motorists are advised to use alternative routes.

The roads affected are:

– The R41 (Randfontein Road) as well as Adcock Street and the R558.

The red lines indicate raods motorists should stay clear of because of protests.

– The R28 next to Mohlakeng has been blocked with rocks and motorists have reported cars being stoned on this section of the road.
