The Freemasonry Group recently donated clothes, toys and other necessities to Mug and Tree Community Centre in Krugersdorp West. They hope to donate more soon.
Freemasonry is the oldest, largest and most widely recognised fraternal organisation in the world – it is also undeniably the world’s oldest social network.

Charity is one of the important facets of Freemasonry and while Freemasonry is not a benevolent society, it actively practises charity. Their members are expected to care for those in society who are in need and less fortunate that themselves, whether they be Freemasons or not. Donations of approximately R26 million have been made to charities by the District of South Africa, North and its Lodges over the past 21 years.
