Mystery Ghost Bus

Take a tour through the darker side of life with the Mystery Ghost Bus.

13 JULY — The Mystery Ghost Bus will run in Johannesburg on Friday the 13th. What can you expect? Pub & Grub stops, poltergeists, electronic voice phenomenon recordings, dowsing rods, castles, a dark haunted room, graveyard visits and much more. University of the 3rd Age

18 JULY — Are you retired or semi-retired and looking for something stimulating and affordable to do? Join The University of the 3rd Age (U3A) West Rand and go to lunch with them at Cattleman’s Kitchen in Muldersdrift at 11.30am. Once you are a member of the U3A, you can join the special interest groups such as music, writing, art, singing, dancing, chess, bridge, walking, day trips, social lunches, board games, movies and holiday trips that will become available in the near future. The Crown of the Russian Ballet

The Crown of the Russian Ballet will dazzle and amaze you.

21 JULY — The acclaimed international theatre company, the Royal Moscow Ballet, will be returning to Johannesburg for two days only at the Theatre of Marcellus at Emperors Palace. The dazzling double-bill programme embraces Marius Petipa’s One Act Ballet, the Paquita with music by Ludwig Minkus; and Anatoly Emilianov’s choreographic interpretation of the Firebird to the musical composition of Igor Stravinsky. Tickets from R200 and are available at Computicket.

Radio Raps – Genuine

Radio Raps’ Jonathan will be at Silverstar again.

28 JULY — Genuine is a one-man comedy show presented by Jonathan from Radio Raps in the Globe at Silverstar from 8pm. Tickets are R150 and are available at Computicket. Jonathan’s show carries an age restriction of 16.

Spring Festival at Garden World

It’s Garden World’s annual spring festival time again.

27 JULY — The 24th Annual Spring Festival is back at Garden World until 2 September. The garden design show, called A Sense of Place, is sure to mesmerise visitors once again. For more details, visit https://www.gardenworld.co.za.

Mi Casa at Key West

28 JULY — Bring your whole family and enjoy the soulful house music of the award-winning band Mi Casa at The Amphitheatre at Key West Shopping Centre from 3pm. Tickets are R50 per person. Children under the age of two years enter for free, but must collect a wristband from the information kiosk at Key West.
