More Foundation does more for Ikusasa this Madiba Day

The Do More Foundation paid a visit to Ikusasa Child and Youth Centre in Krugersdorp CBD.

To commemorate Madiba’s legacy, RCL Foods’ Do More Foundation decided to celebrate its first birthday on what would have been Madiba’s 100th birthday by enhancing hundreds of lives nationwide.

They aim to do this by bringing more meals, more passionate volunteers and more practical help to needy communities across eight of the provinces.

On Tuesday, 10 July, the Foundation did just that when they paid a visit to the Ikusasa Child and Youth Centre in Krugersdorp’s CBD. Approximately 30 volunteers gathered at the centre with good intentions and eager spirits.

Soon they and approximately 35 children between the ages of six and 18 were singing and dancing to the beat of joyous music. After a number of games and activities, each child was treated to the hot dogs prepared by the team of volunteers.

“We are so grateful to the Do More Foundation for coming to Ikusasa. They truly enhanced the children’s lives through donating food and doing activities with the boys,” CEO Donald Nyirenda said.

“It’s a privilege for us to be chosen out of the entire Mogale City. It is also our hope that this relationship and partnership will continue for years to come.”
